SAP Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) with strong experience in SAP systems. This is an individual contributor role, where the candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into functional deliverables, and supporting end-to-end testing and UAT processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
• Create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data aligned with requirements
• Execute testing and validate system functionality against defined test cases
• Coordinate and track User Acceptance Testing (UAT) progress, ensuring timely completion
• Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with development teams for resolution
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business expectations and requirements

Data & SAP Functional Expertise

• Strong understanding of SAP systems and modules
• Ability to relate underlying tables and data structures in SAP
• Experience in analyzing data flows, table relationships, and data dependencies
• Validate data consistency and accuracy across systems during testing

Stakeholder & Delivery Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams
• Guide developers in understanding business requirements and expected outcomes
• Ensure solutions are aligned with business needs and functional expectations
• Provide clarifications and functional support throughout the development lifecycle

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in SAP environments
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and functional analysis
• Hands-on experience in test case creation, execution, and UAT coordination
• Good understanding of data structures, database tables, and data mapping in SAP
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of SQL or data querying
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
