SAP Center of Excellence Lead (Singapore and Malaysia)

We are partnering with a global high-technology manufacturing organisation to appoint a senior SAP leader who will drive enterprise SAP architecture, programme delivery and the ongoing evolution of its SAP landscape across multiple international operations.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced SAP professional who combines deep technical architecture capability with strong programme delivery experience and executive-level stakeholder management.

The position will initially operate as a senior individual contributor, with a clear longer-term pathway to lead an SAP delivery organisation of approximately 30-50 employees, together with external vendors and implementation partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end SAP solution architecture and delivery across ERP, manufacturing, supply chain, finance and integrated enterprise platforms.

Approximately 80% of the role will focus on delivery, architecture and execution, with the remaining scope centred on stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and leadership communication.

Candidates should be able to engage confidently with business stakeholders across the following processes:

1. Order to Cash: sales, order management and customer fulfilment
2. Demand to Deliver: production, operations and manufacturing
3. Source to Pay: procurement, materials and supply chain
4. Record to Report: finance, accounting and controlling

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Leading SAP enterprise architecture and delivery across SAP ECC, future S/4HANA initiatives and integrated enterprise applications.
2. Driving full project lifecycle delivery, including scoping, estimation, solution design, implementation, testing, cutover and deployment.
3. Translating business requirements across manufacturing, supply chain, sales and finance into scalable SAP solutions.
4. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders, including operational leadership, functional Vice Presidents and executive sponsors.
5. Managing integrations between SAP and external applications, including manufacturing systems, shop-floor platforms, invoice management tools and other enterprise applications.
6. Establishing architecture standards, governance frameworks and technology roadmaps.
7. Conducting architecture reviews, gap assessments, performance evaluations and risk analysis.
8. Supporting SAP upgrades, platform modernisation and future migration towards S/4HANA.
9. Managing SAP vendors, implementation partners, licensing arrangements and application management service providers.
10. Building the future SAP Center of Excellence operating model and progressively developing internal delivery capability.
11. Mentoring architects, technical leads and delivery specialists across globally distributed teams.

1. At least 10 years of SAP experience across SAP ERP and SAP ECC environments.
2. Proven end-to-end delivery experience across large and complex SAP programmes.
3. Strong experience within high-technology manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial technology or a closely related manufacturing environment .
4. Deep practical knowledge of SAP ECC architecture and delivery.
5. Experience across multiple SAP modules, ideally including:
6. SAP MM / SAP PP / SAP SD / SAP QM / SAP FICO / SAP WM
7. Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture, including IDocs, APIs, middleware, SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI.
8. Experience integrating SAP with legacy platforms, manufacturing systems and third-party enterprise applications.
9. Strong understanding of business, application, data and technology architecture.
10. Proven ability to manage global stakeholders, delivery teams and vendors across multiple locations and time zones.
11. Experience preparing investment proposals, business cases and programme updates for senior leadership or steering committees.
12. Prior people leadership experience, with the ability and motivation to build and lead a larger SAP delivery organisation over time.
