SAP Consultant (Contract)

KPMG has a strong SAP Digital Transformation team in this region, and we are assisting several clients with End-to-End business transformation initiatives enabled by SAP solutions. Our practice is further expanding, and we are currently seeking SAP Ariba consultant to join our team. You will lead the design, implementation, and deployment of SAP Ariba solutions across the Source‑to‑Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle and support integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP systems. 

This position is based in Singapore. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead the design and configuration of SAP Ariba modules including Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Supplier Risk, Buying & Invoicing (P2P), Guided Buying, Ariba Network, and Catalogue Management.  

• Facilitate business requirement workshops to gather and validate Source‑to‑Pay and Procure-to-Pay processes, compliance requirements, approval workflows, forms, and user experience needs.  

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Ariba integrations, BAdIs, CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway), and interfaces with SAP S/4HANA or ECC. 

• Prepare deliverables such as business blueprints, configuration documents, functional specifications, cutover plans, and training materials.  

• Support all testing phases: Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.  

• Ensure proper configuration management, test evidence documentation, and adherence to project methodology and governance. 

• Support cutover activities, data loads (suppliers, contracts, catalogues), and go‑live activities.  

• Provide post‑go‑live hypercare support based on SLA requirements.  

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Finance, IT) and external vendors. 

• Provide timely project status updates, highlight key risks, and recommend mitigation actions.  

• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships with clients.  

• Represent KPMG’s brand by delivering high‑quality functional consulting and advisory services. 

The ideal candidate should possess: 

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.  

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Ariba consulting.  

• At least 2–3 full-cycle SAP Ariba implementations across S2P and P2P processes.  

• Strong hands-on configuration experience in any combination of Ariba modules (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, P2P, Ariba Network, etc.).  

• Familiarity with CIG/CI9 integration with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.  

• Excellent verbal/written communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.  

• Ability to manage deliverables independently and meet project timelines with minimal supervision.  

• Strong presentation skills and confidence engaging with senior client stakeholders. 

• Ability to effectively develop presentations and present ideas and proposals to all levels of management
