SAP Consultant - Senior Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Retail Consultant to lead the design and delivery of complex SAP solutions within retail environments. This role is critical in shaping end-to-end retail transformations—bridging business strategy with SAP capabilities to drive operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation across multi-channel retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Retail solutions across multiple project phases (discover, design, build, test, deploy, and stabilize)

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams, translating complex retail requirements into scalable SAP architectures

• Drive and facilitate detailed business process workshops, ensuring alignment across merchandising, pricing, inventory, supply chain, and omnichannel operations

• Own and lead fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, and functional design documentation with a focus on best practices and future-state processes

• Provide functional leadership to a team of consultants, ensuring quality of deliverables, adherence to timelines, and alignment with program objectives

• Partner with technical teams to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules and external systems (e.g., POS, eCommerce, warehouse management)

• Identify risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities, proactively recommending solutions to stakeholders

• Support testing strategies (SIT/UAT), defect resolution, and go-live readiness, ensuring high-quality delivery outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering SAP solutions within the retail industry, with strong exposure to core retail processes

• Proven track record in leading functional workstreams or teams in large-scale SAP transformation programs

• Deep understanding of retail operations (e.g., merchandising, store operations, supply chain) and ability to map these to SAP solutions

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting workshops, managing fit-gap analysis, and driving solution design decisions

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both business and technical audiences

• Experience across full SAP project lifecycle, including blueprint, build, and go-live phases

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail or CAR (Customer Activity Repository)

• Exposure to omnichannel retail transformations or large-scale ERP implementations

• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
