SAP Technical Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Developer to design, build, and configure applications that meet business process and application requirements. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for development efforts and lead technical implementation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Design

• Design, build, and configure SAP applications to meet business process and application requirements
• Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications as the primary point of contact
• Prepare detailed technical design documents for all requirements to be implemented
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Prepare comprehensive application unit testing plans
• Conduct thorough unit testing and document results
• Ensure code quality and adherence to development standards

Support & Incident Management

• Support incident investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution
• Document fixes and maintain issue resolution knowledge base
• Provide technical guidance for application-related issues
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Technical Skills (Minimum Medium Proficiency Required)

1. SAP Fiori

• Experience in SAP Fiori enhancement and development
• Proficiency with development tools including Eclipse, VS Code, and GIT
• Understanding of Fiori design principles and UI5 framework

2. Core Data Services (CDS)

• Hands-on experience with CDS enhancement and development
• Knowledge of CDS authorization concepts and implementation
• Ability to create and optimize CDS views

3. ABAP on HANA

• Strong programming skills in ABAP on HANA platform
• Experience with HANA-optimized code development
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for HANA

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) - Development experience
• Integration Technologies - IDOC, Web Services, and OData implementation
• SAP Workflow - Classic and/or Flexible Workflow configuration and development
• Standard Reporting - ALV reports and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) approaches

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on SAP technical development experience
• Proven track record of successful SAP application implementations
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments (preferred)
