School Gym Personnel

Responsibilities

• Unlockand lock the gym facility according to operating hours.
• Ensure all lights, equipment and facilities are switched off before closing.
• Report any abnormality or irregularity to management.
• Inform management of damaged equipment and place appropriate notices such as"Not in Use" or "Under Repair".
• Clean and tidy all gym equipment, including equipment in the studio, on a dailybasis.
• Work closely with management to ensure smooth and efficient gym operations.
• Supervise gym users to ensure compliance with gym rules and regulations.
• Provide guidance to recreational users on gym equipment and functional spaceusage.
• Conduct gym orientation and pre/post training safety briefings for new users.
• Promote safe behaviour and compliance with gym safety rules and regulations.
• Remind users to wipe and sanitize equipment after use.
• Respond to incidents, accidents, and emergencies and notify the relevantpersonnel immediately.
• Render first aid assistance when required and seek emergency assistance wherenecessary.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure the gym reception area is kept neatand tidy at all times.

Requirements

• Basic Exercise Course (BEC) or Equivalent qualification recognized by the National Registry of Exercise Professionals.
• First Aid Certification (CPR, AED)
• Possess a minimum of one (1) year of gym management experience.
• Must acknowledge and comply with the client's Code of Conduct.
• Must be neatly attired in the company-issued uniform during duty hours.
• Good Customer-oriented, interpersonal and communication skills with students

Working Hours:

• School Term: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• School Vacation: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturdays: As required by the client
• Off: Sundays and Public Holidays
