Science Laboratory Assistant

Job Scope

• Assist teachers in preparing teaching materials, lab resources, and worksheets.

• Support practical sessions and department programmes.

• Help move laboratory equipment when required.

• Accompany students on learning journeys.

• Manage inventory of laboratory equipment and materials.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the Science Laboratory.

• Perform other duties assigned by the school.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience.

• Pass in English and Science at N or O Level (or equivalent).

• Organized, meticulous, and able to multitask.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

• Preferably proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

12 months contract (Option to extend another year) (June 26 to June 2027)

Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch
break
Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Working hours may be adjusted occasionally, within the 42-hour per
week limit, to meet schools needs
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
