Scientist, Regional Science APAC, HNC

Independent scientific & external affairs management, advanced technical skills and knowledge sufficient to lead science in 1 segment or markets in the region. Manage engagement of external consultants where required. Drive science communication for the priority science issues in at least 1 segment and/or market. Ensure both scientific accuracy and quality of internal and external communications including social media, PR and trade releases, position papers. Contributes as a member of a cross-functional team (R&D, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Innovation, Application and Formulation) that helps translates the science of nutritional ingredients for internal and external customers. Able to deal with customer and stakeholder interactions as well as science communications with low-medium levels of complexity, focused on a single segment of market. Deliver presentations to customers and presentations at professional meetings. Responsible for engagement and relationship management with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Supportive environment where individuals are empowered to progress and contribute to meaningful change. Experience with compiling scientific evidence to substantiate health claims and working with regulatory affairs team, knowledge of health claims systems in APAC e.g. TGA, Korea MFDS, FFC is a plus. Ability to interact effectively with industry partners and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) from the Nutrition industry. Experience in translating scientific information to marketing campaigns and solutions.
