Scrum Master - IT

As a Scrum Master, you will drive Agile delivery across mission-critical payment and transaction platforms, enabling high-performing squads to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant payment solutions. This role requires strong facilitation skills, deep Agile expertise, and experience in complex, regulated environments such as payments or financial services.

Responsibilities:

·        Agile Facilitation and Delivery:

Ø  Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

Ø  Guide teams in adopting and continuously improving Agile/Scrum practices

Ø  Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features aligned with business priorities

Ø  Track and report on team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, etc.)

·        Team Enablement and Coaching:

Ø  Coach team members on Agile principles, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Ø  Remove impediments and proactively address risks impacting delivery

Ø  Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritization

Ø  Promote cross-functional collaboration across development, QA, DevOps, and business teams

·        Stakeholder Management:

Ø  Act as the key liaison between product owners, engineering teams, and businesss takeholders

Ø  Provide transparency on progress, risks, and dependencies

Ø  Support planning activities, including release and roadmap planning

·        Process Excellence:

Ø  Drive Agile maturity across teams and contribute to broader Agile transformation initiatives

Ø  Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce cycle time, and enhance productivity

Ø  Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards relevant to payment systems

·        Risk and Dependency Management:

Ø  Manage cross-team dependencies in large-scale Agile environments

Ø  Escalate and mitigate delivery risks effectively

Ø  Coordinate with multiple squads in complex delivery programs

Must Have Job Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

·        5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2–3 years as a Scrum Master

·        Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments within enterprise IT programs

·        Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional ScrumMaster (PSM), or equivalent

·        SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master) is an advantage

·        Experience in payments, banking, fintech, or regulated industries is highly preferred

·        Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, and modern software engineering

·        Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills

·        Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex delivery environment

·        Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps

·        Understanding of payment systems, transaction processing, or digital banking platforms is a plus

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
