Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities 
•    GL & Operations: Manage end-to-end AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accounting; verify payment requests and submit regular reports to HQ per group templates.
•    Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit accurate monthly/quarterly GST and Withholding Tax (WHT) returns; assist with ECI and Corporate Income Tax filings; ensure timely payments to IRAS.
•    Audit & Controls: Liaise with external auditors and IRAS; prepare audit schedules and respond to tax assessments; maintain systematic filing of accounting records per the Companies Act.
•    Strategic Support: Assist in developing accounting policies and SOPs; analyze financial data for business decisions; Undertake ad-hoc accounting projects and any other assignments as required by HQ or local management while providing essential support to local operations and administrative functions.
   
Requirements 
•    Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. CA Singapore, CICPA, or equivalent qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA Australia) are highly advantageous. Candidates with a Big 4 audit background are strongly preferred.
•    Experience: Min. 4 years in accounting, with strong knowledge of SFRS and local tax laws; MNC background preferred.
•    Language: Fluent in English and Mandarin (written & spoken) for stakeholder communication and document handling.
•    Skills: High proficiency in Advanced Excel and MS Office; SAP experience is highly preferred.
•    Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, and able to work independently.
