Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for General Accounting duties, such as managing the general ledger system, generating and inputting journal entries, conducting month-end closing tasks, and reconciling various accounts.
• Take on the day-to-day book keeping, maintain accurate data on the accounting software (Xero) and monthly reporting.
• Conduct AR/AP process according to company’s process and updating of ledgers and budget, projection, and forms
• Analyse financial data and present summarised financial status reports.
• Coordinating cross-functionally with departments across the organisation to address accounting issues and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretaries in relation to statutory audit and tax reporting and compliance
• Continuously identify and implement streamlined procedures and processes for improved efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA qualification would be preferred
• At least 4 years of Accounting experience in Saas companies or handling Saas clients, preferably within a fast-paced start-up
• Hands-on experience in stand-alone and consolidated accounting
• Pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-border teams and support senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes
• Fluent proficiency in Mandarin and business proficiency in English is required to liaise with stakeholders both in China and globally.
