Senior Accountant (Subsi)

[What the role is]

This role is responsible for the accounting for SLF subsidiaries and supporting the operations of the funds managed by the fund management subsidiary

[What you will be working on]

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following.

Accounting

1. Timely and accurate monthly closing
2. Cashflow planning & execution
3. Handle statutory audit, GST submissions, tax & XBRL filings
4. Preparation of Board papers
5. Preparation of filings to MAS (for fund management subsidiary)
6. Ensure timely collection of account receivables (for property owning subsidiary)
7. Collaborate on operational and financial issues
8. Support in ad hoc tasks/projects

Fund operations

1. Update of SOPs
2. Lead process improvements
3. Drive digital adoption

Requirements

1. Accountancy degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
2. Experience in fund management industry is required
3. Good analytical & problem solving skills
4. Meticulous, resourceful, and able to work independently
5. Capable of managing tight deadlines and multitasking
6. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
7. Proficient in Excel
