Senior Accounts executive/ Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain full sets of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee month-end and year-end financial closings and prepare related reports.
• Develop and reconcile accounting schedules, accounts, and management/cash flow reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate submissions of GST, annual tax returns, and other statutory filings.
• Prepare audit schedules and address queries from external auditors.
• Review tax computations and coordinate with tax agents to manage the tax filing process.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, corporate secretaries, and government authorities to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and participate in annual stock-taking activities.
• Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register and ledger.
• Evaluate, implement, and enhance financial workflows/processes to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance, advice, and support to the accounting team.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
   

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or CPA/ CA qualification or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with a FRS/IFRS experience
• Prior external audit experience will be an added advantage.
