Senior Agentic AI Platform Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Agentic AI Platform Engineer to build and scale an enterprise-grade Agentic AI platform. You will design intelligent orchestration layers, integrate LLMs and external tools, develop advanced RAG capabilities, and build the backend services that power AI applications and agents.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex systems challenges, building AI-powered platforms, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Agentic AI & Orchestration

• Design and build agent orchestration frameworks using technologies such as LangGraph, n8n, and AWS Bedrock Agents.
• Develop and integrate new agent capabilities, tools, and third-party APIs.
• Enable autonomous workflows and multi-agent interactions.

GenAI Platform Development

• Architect and optimize RAG pipelines, embeddings, retrieval strategies, and LLM integrations.
• Build backend services and APIs supporting AI applications, agents, and workflows.
• Design and manage PostgreSQL-backed application services and data models.

AI Marketplace & Platform Services

• Develop platform capabilities that allow users to publish, share, version, and manage datasets, chatbots, AI agents, and reusable AI skills.
• Support secure governance and lifecycle management of AI assets.

Search, Data & Observability

• Implement and optimize vector search and retrieval systems using OpenSearch and related technologies.
• Build data ingestion and processing pipelines to support AI workloads.
• Implement agent observability, including monitoring of latency, token consumption, tool usage, and AI performance metrics.

Security & Compliance

• Implement AI guardrails, including prompt injection protection, data masking, output filtering, and secure access controls.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise and government data privacy and security requirements.

Cross-Functional Delivery

• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers and designers to deliver seamless end-to-end AI experiences.
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and platform best practices across the engineering team.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in backend development, API design, and system architecture.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph.
• Strong experience integrating and working with LLM platforms and managed AI services.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, with experience in AWS services such as Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, and OpenSearch preferred.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and familiarity with vector database concepts.
• Working knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as React and Next.js.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining strong engineering and debugging practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n or Flowise.
• Familiarity with LLM observability and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience operating within highly regulated environments or government security standards (e.g., IM8).
