SENIOR ARCHITECT

Candidates are required to fulfill the following roles and responsibilities:

Project Coordination role

-         Co-ordinate,organize & prepare drawing in Schematic, Design Development, Tender and Construction stage with Design Team

-         Carry out regular meetings with both internal and external Project Team members

-         Check drawing for compliance to latest code for URA, BCA and Technical Departments,from inception to completion of project

-         Coordinate design, technical and code compliance matters with all consultants

Authority Submission and Construction Supervision role

-         Prepare drawing and/or BIM Model for submission to authority for approval via E-Corenet Submission system

-         Lead internal BIM/Drafting team, i.e. plan and schedule work for delegation to BIM Modeller/Draftsperson in the project team

-         Assist Project Director/QP during Construction Stage for RFI/RFA.

-         Chair site meetings and carry out periodic site inspections to ensure construction works are according to the drawings

Candidates are expected to fulfil the following criteria:

Critical criteria

-         Master of Architecture degree in local or recognized universities

-         Minimum 5 years of experience

-         Conversant with draughting skill and the use of 2D & 3D software

-         Possess relevant knowledge of project design stages

-         Experience with planning and obtaining TOP/CSC from BCA and Technical Departments

-         Experience in co-ordination meetings with consultants, main contractors and subcontractors

-         Skilled in AutoCAD and BIM software

-         Have good understanding of the authority requirements and compliances

Preferred criteria

-         Qualified Person (QP) under Board of Architects, Singapore

-         Strong organization and planning skills

-         Have good written and oral communication skills

-         Able to relate and co-ordinate at all organizational levels

-         Experience in Corenet X submission and any other authority submissions

-         Experience in handling RFIs, shop drawings, construction detailing

-         Knowledge in Sketchup, Microsoft Project,Excel, Words and PowerPoint

-         Experience in collaboration platforms like BIM 360 or BIMCloud
