The gardens and greenery across Changi Airport are a big part of what travellers remember. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with plants and landscapes, has a keen sense of aesthetics, and takes pride in maintaining attractive, healthy, and well-curated green spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and supervision of horticultural and landscape maintenance works across the airport
- Curate and refresh landscape displays through plant selection, arrangement and replacement
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess plant health, landscape quality, cleanliness, and overall presentation
- Identify plant health issues, pests and diseases, and maintenance needs, and work with contractors and colleagues to address them
- Support landscape improvement projects, including planting trials and sustainability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and good horticultural practices
Requirements
- Degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance or nursery operations
- Good knowledge of plant care, soil conditions, pests and diseases, and horticultural maintenance practices
- An eye for landscape curation and plant selection
- Comfortable working onsite, both indoor and outdoor environments
- Proactive, observant, keen to learn, and work well with different stakeholders
