Institutional Banking Group (IBG) provides customised solutions for businesses from large corporate and institutional clients, to small and medium-sized enterprises. As part of IBG's large-corporate team, you will have a hand in broadening and deepening our client relationships, by serving them with our full range of products and solutions comprising credit facilities, global transactional services, digital, treasury, financial advisory and capital markets solutions.
Responsibilities
Perform coverage of clients of IBG-GLC to originate corporate and investment banking businesses including debt /sustainable finance, cash management, digital solutions, capital markets (debt and equity), financial advisory, and treasury products and solutions.
Collaborate and work as One-Bank with in-country teams and product groups on client coverage and deal origination.
Assist to formulate and execute account plans to grow wallet shares, identify and develop ideas and opportunities, capture mindshare and deepen client relationship.
Prepare credit proposals - including quantitative and qualitative analysis - and periodic credit reviews in a timely manner.
Monitor and manage portfolio accounts pro-actively and keeping oneself abreast of latest business, industry and market developments and dynamics.
Construct and manage full-fledge financial models based on sound understanding of the underlying business and industry drivers and trends.
Execute transactions end-to-end from origination to completion in a timely and efficient manner, including coordinating with clients, internal and external professional parties and assisting in loan, security and related documentation and negotiation.
Requirements
A recognised bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accountancy, Economics, or a related discipline.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate (large-corporate segment) and investment banking.
Sound knowledge and skills in credit structuring, corporate finance, financial analysis and modelling, and PowerPoint presentation.
Strong client management skills, as well as soft skills in managing and collaborating with external and internal parties in the course of work.
Able to multi-task and work under pressure to complete assignments/ projects under tight deadlines.
A self-starter who is adaptable, resourceful, and motivated to achieve results and succeed.
