Senior C++ Market Data Engineer | HK/SG

We are partnering with a leading technology-driven trading firm seeking an experiencedSenior Market Data Engineer to build and enhance high-performance market data infrastructure supporting global trading operations.

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop scalable market data pipelines for high-frequency trading environments.
2. Build and maintain solutions for processing, parsing and normalizing raw exchange market data.
3. Develop historical and real-time market data infrastructure with a focus on data quality and reliability.
4. Integrate new exchange feeds and support onboarding across global markets.
5. Implement data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
6. Collaborate closely with trading, research and engineering teams to deliver high-quality market data solutions.
7. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of software engineering experience in market data, trading systems or financial technology.
2. Strong proficiency in C++.
3. Experience working withexchange market data, tick data or order book data.
4. Hands-on experience with feed handlers, exchange protocols, binary message parsing or PCAP processing is highly desirable.
5. Good understanding of market microstructure and electronic trading concepts.
6. Experience with global exchanges or derivatives market data is advantageous.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
8. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required to collaborate with regional stakeholders.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with historical tick data platforms.
2. Knowledge of MBO/MBP data models.
3. Familiarity with market data vendors or direct exchange connectivity.
4. Experience in low-latency or high-performance systems.
