Responsibilities
- To carry out civil and structural design for water treatment plants.
- To prepare drawings and organize design reviews.
- To work closely with QP on design submission to relevant authorities and follow up thoroughly for approval.
- To produce load, pressure, stress calculation and analysis.
- To provide technical advice on construction materials, installation methods and etc.
- To guide civil team for project implementation in line with the approved drawing.
- To inspect site installation and resolve design clashes if any.
- To work out as-built drawings and keep record systematically.
- To coordinate with project teams for smooth execution, including mechanical, electrical, quality, safety and etc.
- To liaise with consultants, architects, contractors, and suppliers to resolve project issues.
- To oversee project progress, track budget and maintain project database.
- Other ad-hoc assignment.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficient with concrete structures, steel structures, civil works, or soil-structure interactions
- Preferably proficient with Staad Pro, Autocad Plant 3D
