Job Description - Senior Consultant, IT PMO (for banking industry)

Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager in planning, tracking, and coordinating project activities to ensure smooth project execution.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, progress reports, dashboards, and other project management documentation.
Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring any delays or risks are promptly identified and escalated.
Assist in preparing and consolidating weekly or monthly project status reports for both internal and client stakeholders.
Track and manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timesheets in alignment with client governance requirements.
Support project governance activities such as steering committee meetings, project reviews, and audit readiness.
Ensure adherence to the client’s project management framework, compliance standards, and documentation templates.
Coordinate with various workstream leads, vendors, and cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and issue resolution.
Manage and maintain project documentation repository and ensure proper version control.
Assist with change request management, risk and issue tracking, and lessons learned documentation.
Uphold consulting professionalism, maintain confidentiality, and foster strong collaboration with client teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any field.
Min. 5 years of project management experience within a Bank IT environment.
Proven experience managing end-to-end infrastructure upgrade projects.
Strong Waterfall project management experience.
Solid stakeholder and team management skills.
Consulting experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
