Senior Consultant with Azure Cloud and Azure AD experience

Detailed Job Description:  

·        Responsible for working on the following in Azure environment:

o  Identity Management

o  Authentication & Authorization (SSO and MFA)

o  Synchronizing on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD using Azure AD Connect.

o  Registering applications in Azure AD.

o  Access Management-RBAC, Conditional access

o  Monitoring & Reporting using Azure Ad logs, Entra reports and integration with Microsoft Sentinel

·        Deploy and configure Azure services

·        Implement security controls using Azure Security Center, Defender, and Sentinel.

·        Ensure compliance with industry standards(ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).

·        Monitor performance and availability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

·        Optimize cost and resource utilization.

·        Work as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and technical teams.

·        Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and technical documentation.

·        Lead the resolution of high-priority incidents by coordinating with various technical teams.

·        Participate in reviews and contribute to the automation and continuous improvement processes.

·        Manage and guide the team on optimizing cost and resource utilization.

·        Drive adherence to ITIL best practices and ensure alignment with business objectives and SLAs.

·        Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

·        Provide regular updates to senior leadership on service performance, risk posture, and compliance status.

Key Responsibilities and Key performance indicators:

·        Participate in planning, design, preparation, implementation and operation of projects and working with various internal and external stakeholders

·        Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance models.

·        Collaborate with stakeholders to assess cloud readiness and develop migration strategies.

·        Implement security, compliance, and identity management solutions within Azure.

·        Optimize cloud performance, cost, and scalability through continuous monitoring and improvement.

·        Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams.

·        Stay current with Azure innovations and recommend relevant technologies.

Technical Skills:

Azure Active directory & Azure cloud

Devops tools

Hybrid cloud environments (Azure and AWS) and integration with on-premises systems.

Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.

Domain Skills:

Financial/Banking Institution/Investment Banking

Insurance, Telecom.

Educational Qualification: Degree in IT or engineering related field.
