Our client is a well-established, technology-driven global trading firm with a strong presence in Singapore. They are looking to appoint a Senior Corporate Paralegal to support their expanding legal and contracting operations in a fast-paced, international environment.
This role focuses on the efficient execution and management of routine legal agreements, particularly corporate contracts and NDAs, using template-driven processes and established playbooks. You will work closely with internal business teams and external counterparties to manage documents from intake through execution, escalating non-standard or higher-risk matters to legal counsel when required.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Draft, review and manage NDAs, employment contracts and standard commercial agreements using approved templates and playbooks.
Perform first-pass drafting and redlining, highlighting material changes and managing version control for attorney review.
Maintain and update legal templates, playbooks and contract libraries to reflect current legal standards and internal policies.
Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including tracking status, renewals, terminations and maintaining accurate records.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across operations, HR, compliance and global offices to obtain information and approvals.
Support corporate governance and entity-maintenance matters, including board resolutions, company-secretarial tasks and regulatory requests.
Assist with compliance-related documentation and ensure adherence to best practices across relevant jurisdictions.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
Min 5 – 8 years of corporate paralegal experience, gained in a law firm or in-house legal team, ideally within financial services, banking, fintech or trading environments.
Strong expertise in NDA and template-based contracting, with the ability to independently identify non-standard terms and recommend fallback positions.
Experience supporting corporate governance, entity management and regulatory documentation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and tight deadlines across time zones.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers.
High attention to detail, strong ethical standards and sound judgment in recognizing when to escalate matters to legal counsel.
