About the Role
As a Senior Director, you will be an integral leader in the APAC market. You will manage commercial opportunities from inception through to final execution as part of a global team. Your focus will be the SE Asia market. In this client-facing role, you will originate new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery.
Responsibilities
Client Sourcing & Deal Generation: Identify and engage prospective clients (companies) to generate a steady pipeline of investment opportunities
Initial Screening: Conduct preliminary assessments, including calls and meetings with C-suite executives, to evaluate potential clients.
Coordination & Communication: Act as a key liaison between prospective clients and the investment team, ensuring seamless due diligence and execution of transactions.
Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with sponsors and key stakeholders
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Negotiation and closing: Lead the negotiation process with prospective clients up to the closing stage.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience at a top-tier financial institution with a focus on investments: Debt/Credit provider, Venture Capital, Debt Advisory
Minimum 8 years of experience in a client-facing roles: origination, relationship management, sponsors coverage
Proven track record in sourcing and closing debt/equity transactions
Drive, ambition, and an ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
At least two years of previous experience as a financial analyst- Must Have
Experience in and understanding of the growth-stage tech landscape
