SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Job Description:

• Lead or carry out design of electrical services includingHigh Voltage distribution system, Low Voltage distribution system, Extra LowVoltage Systems, Lightning Protection System, Earthing System, etc
• Review and/or produce/compile Detailed Calculations Report
• Prepare presentation slides’ technical/Design input
• Lead liaison with Registered Inspector (RI) and relevantAuthority on submission matters
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant and Contractor on design,construction and submission aspects of projects
• Attend technical / site meetings to resolve design issues andsite problems
• To monitor the project team in the preparation of drawings,reports, technical documentation, tenders and contract administration
• To liaise with the Client and assist QP/Associate Director inidentifying the needs and technical requirements of the Client
• To ensure Design and Drawings conformance to Authorities andCode of Practice requirements
• To prepare work (Design and Drawings) schedules and ensureconformance of such schedule. To monitor and ensure that submission schedulesto Authorities are met
• Support Tender bid related to M&E Design
• Other duties arranged by Supervisor
• Job Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Min. 8 years of Design experience/ construction industry
• Well verse in local practice, i.e. Code of Practice,Standards and local authority submission
• Knowledge & experience in the process of obtainingTOP/CSC for the projects
• Well verse in Electrical Design Software, e.g. Trimble, ETAB,DIALux, DAPPER, etc
• Knowledge in Drafting/BIM Software, e.g. AutoCAD, AutodeskREVIT, Naviswork, etc
• Good report writing, communication and presentation skills
• Effective in both English and Mandarin communication, with Mandarin proficiency supporting regular collaboration with Chinese enterprises.
