Accountabilities and Tasks

Firmware Development/Customer Support

• Provide professional support to customers' feedback or issues pertaining to emulation firmware.  
• Check and analyze the end-users' requirements and create customized firmware to suit customers' needs and wants. 
• Perform standard firmware modification to ensure high compatibility with competitors' emulation firmware to ensure high competitiveness.  
• Review and improve existing firmware development workflow and process to achieve higher development efficiency and meet the established Quality Assurance (QA) standard.
• Create and update technical training materials based on customer support cases to share with the team for learning purposes. 
   

Evaluation and Quality control

• Prepare firmware specifications and evaluation document and to assess effectiveness of developed firmware together with Software Quality Control (QC) Department during evaluation process.  

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education level: Bachelor's degree in computer science / computer engineering or Equivalent. 
• Good knowledge in embedded system development or Linux system is highly preferred. 
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in firmware development or in printer firmware using C / C++ programming language will be highly advantageous.
• Candidates with prior experience in mentoring junior employees are highly advantageous.
