Our technology starts with you.\n\nYOUR ROLE \n\nYou will be responsible and focus on improving tool performance and availability, in charge of maintenance, diagnosing failures and implementing effective solutions to meet uptime requirements. \n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Maintain equipment performance in cleanroom environment for quality production.\n * Continually improve tool uptime availability, drive defect reduction and enhance hardware capability.\n * Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and improve MTBC.\n * Analyze FDC data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.\n * Provide On Job Training for junior engineers on equipment operation and maintenance.\n * Drive cost reduction projects.\n * Work with equipment vendors, Hookup and Facility Team to perform tool relocation, startup and commissioning. \n * Communicate with equipment vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.\n * Maintain work environment 5S.\n\n\n\nYOUR SKILLS \u0026 EXPERIENCES\n\n * A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.\n * Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in Thin film (CVD) module.\n * Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.\n * Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills.\n * Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.\n * Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.\n * Familiar with QNX4 OS and File System, software recovery and installation.\n * Familiar with Brooks MAG7 Robot Exchange and Novellus Concept 2 DLCM setup with SMIF Procedure.\n * Familiar with Novellus Concept 2 System Equipment installation, Startup and Commissioning. \n * Experience working in Novellus Concept 2 Sequel/Speed and AMAT Producer/Centura DxZ, CxZ, HDP Chambers. \n\n\n\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
