Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager Legal and Compliance

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Legal & Compliance Department in SIA's Corporate Planning Division. He/She will support M&A transactions and commercial projects to promote revenue and growth for Singapore Airlines.

Responsibilities

Support the company’s commercial initiatives by drafting contracts and other legal documents, reviewing draft contracts in accordance with internal guidelines, and advising business units on a range of commercial law issues.

Requirements

• The candidate should have:
  
  
  
  • a law degree
  
  
  • at least one year of legal experience in a reputable law firm or in-house at an MNC, and
  
  
  • excellent drafting skills.
  
  
  
  


• The candidate should have transactional experience in the following areas:
  
  
  
  • mergers and acquisitions;
  
  
  • corporate finance; and/or
  
  
  • other high value cross-border transactional work.
  
  
  
  


• Experience in regulatory compliance and/or competition law matters is an added advantage.


• The candidate should be able to:
  
  
  
  • work independently as a team player, and
  
  
  • communicate with people efficiently in a dynamic environment in Singapore Airlines and its unlisted subsidiaries.
  
  
  
  


• A positive attitude to learn with an enthusiasm to excel.


• Admission to the Singapore Bar is not required.
