Job Description
The successful candidate will join the Global Human Resources (GHR) team in a multinational organisation. He/she will be responsible for actively providing administrative support to the Senior Manager (L&D) to implement GHR Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives under the ONE Academy and coordinate day-to-day operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Proactively provide administrative and logistics end-to-end support to implement assigned GHR L&D initiatives under the ONE Academy:
- Support in executing L&D activities and programs (face-to-face workshops, events, e-learning, blended learning, etc.) whilst ensuring a smooth learning experience for employees
- Support in establishing/reviewing Global leadership, competency and training frameworks, with regions
- Facilitate updating of materials in collaboration with content experts for learning programs
- Administer and coordinate external and internal learning activities including (but not limited to) resource allocation, vendor management, processing of grants, course registrations, updating and maintaining learning records, tracking of course evaluation and payment processing
- Handle employee training requests and other ad-hoc inquiries
- Track learning and development budget utilization and preparing reports
- Track learning effectiveness feedback to identify gaps to suggest areas for improvement
- Manage training partners/vendors providing training services
- Enhance L&D administration processes to enhance employees’ L&D experience
- Regularly communicate to employees on upcoming training or events that are relevant to their learning needs
- Support other HR projects/initiatives such as company events, programs and activities
- Any other work-related duties as and when assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Degree Holder in Human Resource/any relevant fields
- 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in Learning & Development or in an educational industry
- Good MS office skills, e.g. Excel, Pivot Table, Vlookup, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Proactive attitude, team player with a customer-centric mindset
- Good interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills
- Able to work independently and reliably in a fast-paced working environment
- Shipping/maritime industry related experience would be an advantage
