Job Purpose
1. Execution, set-up, and preparation of an existing FSRU Project including SPC`s commercial activities
2. Business development of Floating LNG Infrastructure Project in Asia Pacific Region
3. New Business Development other than FSRU/LNG Infrastructure
Duties and Responsibilities:
【Execution, set-up and preparation of an existing FSRU Project including SPC`s commercial activities】
1. Closed communication with FSRU Charterer (Client) in daily basis
2. Closed communication and Cooperation with internal stakeholders (Technical team, LNG Asset management Team, Ship management company in Singapore, and Tokyo HQ day to day basis to ensure smooth set-up
3. Close collaboration and information sharing within the team and stakeholders
4. Communication with Singapore governmental authority (MPA/EMA/MOM) to proceed set-up of the project
5. Monitoring FSRU building at Korean Shipyard as an Owner
6. Periodical reporting to MOL / Shareholders
7. Contractual requirement managements (Time Charter Party, Shipbuilding Contract, Facility agreement, Shareholders Agreement, Management Agreement etc.)
8. FSRU Owner Company secretary matters (Resolutions, registrations, and maintenance of corporate documents etc.)
9. Correspondence with other stakeholders
10. Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior and Management
【Business Development】
11. New business development activities in Singapore including business support for these activities
(Floating Storage Regasification Unit (=FSRU), Floating Storage Unit (=FSU) (preparation of reports, investigation, etc.)
12. Review and analyze the opportunities for business continuity, profitability, etc.
13. Networking
14. Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior and Management
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
-Senior Maritime / shipping Qualification, or Degree in Project / business management with Operations experience
-Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers
Knowledge and Experience:
-A good working knowledge of Oil & Gas shipping commercial operations
-Familiarity with time charter/ shipbuilding contractual terms and associated commercial agreements
-Ability to report complex commercial matters in simple terms
-Good cultural awareness with the ability to engage with various stakeholders worldwide
-Good understanding of LNG/ Gas market gained at another owner and / or energy company
-Ex-Mariner with LNG / Oil Tanker experience
-Claims handling (Insurance, charter-party disputes etc.)
Skills & Competencies:
-Excellent communication skills
-Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks / projects by oneself
-Commercially astute with a sharp eye for detail
-Numerically astute and comfortable reporting large numbers to management (USD$ millions)
-Capable to report complex commercial matters in a few salient points and provide resolution(s) to manager
-Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
-Stakeholder engagement
-Strong data analytical skills
-Advanced Excel skills
