Senior Executive, Memberships

Join Caritas Singapore, the social and community arm of the Catholic Church, in serving those in need. We are an umbrella body for over 20 Catholic charitable organisations and a member of Caritas Internationalis.  

We are looking for passionate and capable individuals to join our team in two key roles that support our mission to serve and uplift the most vulnerable in our community. 

Reporting to the Head, Partnerships, your main role and responsibilities are: 

1. Manage, develop, and establish stronger relationships with member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family through various means, including but not limited to meetings and field visits. 

2. Plan and implement programmes and events that foster greater collaboration and networking across various stakeholders (with emphasis on member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family). 

3. Work with potential and existing member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family on all matters relating to Membership in Caritas, including, but not limited to processing and evaluating membership application and status for affiliations and associates.  

5. Provide secretariat support to the Caritas Singapore Membership Committee. 

6. Provide support on other projects/tasks as assigned by the Executive Director, Caritas Singapore. 

Requirements: 

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Social Work, Business or Communication Studies) with these qualities : 

• Strategic thinking with hands-on experience planning and executing programmes and events 

• Have strong writing skills and an eye for attention to detail. 

• 2-3 years of experience in the social sector as an employee would be beneficial. 

• Experience in community development and community building would be advantageous.
