Job Description - Senior Executive (New Energy Solutions) - with Great Benefits

We are searching for a versatile Senior Executive (New Energy Solutions) to join our energetic team at Senoko Energy Pte Ltd in Sembawang, North Region.

In line with our Mission statement to provide smart energy solutions that make a difference, we need a small team of individuals that keep close tabs on the development in the applicable technological space and the ability to bring them into commercialization. The key objective for the team is to introduce new products and services that will complement our core electricity retail business. In doing so, differentiating ourselves from other retailers and averting ourselves from a commodity price war. The intent of this role is not to build a Business Development function with its own P&L.


Reporting to Senior Manager (NES), this position will play a key role in supporting the SolarShare Program that has been launched. As the SolarShare specialist in-charge of end-to-end support, this position will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of SolarShare, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams to achieve organizational goals.


In addition, this role will play a critical role in the development of relating new products and services within the SolarShare community, with emphasis from technical perspective.

Your Role:
 

  1. SolarShare Presales Support 
  • Expansion of green energy availability
  • Provide mid-office support to Sales Team, addressing inquiries, and resolving customer issues related to SolarShare
  • Maintain SOP and provide interval training to Sales team for product sharing and changes.
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to develop and maintain collaterals for acquisition and self-help documentation. 

2. SolarShare post-sales Support

  • Conduct user training sessions to enhance system understanding and promote self-help mechanisms.
  • Increase percentage of green matches within SolarShare network.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, user support requests, and issue resolution.
  • Generate and present regular reports to leadership and stakeholders

3. Technical Troubleshooting

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT specialists, developers, and administrators, to address system-related challenges and implement improvements.
  • Oversee the implementation of end-to-end support solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and IT best practices.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures, implementing measures to safeguard sensitive data and protect against potential threats.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain high standards of service. 

4. Collaboration

  • Find suitable business partners to scale SolarShare community.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to enhance system capabilities.
  • Strengthen SolarShare community, network and reach
     

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or information technology.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy and system support processes.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Business Development
  • Familiar with products in the renewable or energy industries. Experience in sourcing and assessing products or solutions provider
  • Experience in conducting market assessment to determine the market potential, taking into account competitive landscape, pricing and IRR evaluation
  • Experience in engineering of work processes, improving efficiency and data collection for relevant stakeholders
  • Positive attitude and relationship builder to interact with internal and external business stakeholders to deliver bottom line results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous in assessing work done and maintaining proper records.
  • Able to work with partners to ensure completion of work in accordance to expectations
  • Able to meet deadlines while working under pressure.
