Senior Executive, Procurement - GH

Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Executive, Procurement to join their professional team, responsible for supporting user departments in procuring goods and services efficiently.  To oversee procurement operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures while fostering collaboration with user departments to understand their needs and provide timely advice on procurement matters.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in procurement operations, including reviewing purchase requests, purchase orders, and tender documents.
• Offering timely advice to user departments regarding procurement policies and processes.
• Organizing and conducting procurement briefings for user departments.
• Participating in the review of procurement policies and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting the implementation of the e-Procurement system, which includes conducting user acceptance tests, facilitating training sessions, and addressing post-implementation issues.
• Undertaking additional tasks or duties as delegated by the Director of Finance.

Requirements:

• 4 years of relevant Procurement experience.
• Ability to work on multiple projects involving multiple stakeholders concurrently
• A problem solver with proven analytical and writing skills.
• Strong analytical skills 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
