About Department and Purpose of the Position

The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be a Data Protection Communications Manager. He/She will develop and deliver effective educational materials and campaigns focused on data protection, and support the data protection team manage compliance in the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and provide training, briefings and guidance on data protection best practices at various internal sharing platforms.


• Develop, organise and deliver educational campaigns to continuously raise awareness and strengthen data protection culture.


• Provide guidance in managing data breaches and data incidents in accordance with hospital policies.


• Conduct regular data protection audits and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data protection measures are integrated into business processes.


• Handle internal (staff) and external (public) queries.


• Support department’s operations and administrative matters or any other duties/projects as assigned by supervisor.


• Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline


• Proficient in MS Office applications especially PowerPoint.


• Extroverted and confident in public speaking, collaborating and engaging with various levels of stakeholders.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.


• Keen and motivated to continuously learn and improve, proactive, optimistic and thrive when facing challenges.


• Diligent in completing tasks and processes from start to end, adhere well to timelines independently and as a team.


• Tendency to be creative/resourceful, analytical and keen in problem-solving.


• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


• Proficiency in graphic designing and/or experiences in healthcare, data protection/compliance and/or teaching/training/facilitation work is advantageous.
