Senior Executive, Student Development

Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) https://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the school is renowned for its high academic standards and research. It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with more than 120 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 4,000, of which about 1,000 are graduate students. 
 
We invite applications for the position of Senior Executive, Student Development. The incumbent shall manage all aspects of student life and support for MSc programmes.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support students’ outreach, support prospective students’ inquiries, group chat, conduct senior sharing session for prospective students    

• Student Engagement and Support: Develop and implement programs to enhance student involvement, satisfaction, and overall well-being.

• Student Development and Well-being: Organize workshops and initiatives focusing on stress management, career development, mental health, and time management to promote holistic student development.

• Student Leadership and Skill Development: To provide opportunities for student leadership and skill development as well as establish partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to provide additional resources and opportunities for students. 

• Support alumni engagement initiatives, including events, networking sessions, and communication efforts to strengthen alumni-student linkages.

• Support MSc admission review and answering prospective student’s inquires.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and ad-hoc assignments undertaken by the Programme Office.

    
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in student life and support in higher education is preferred.

• Possess strong communication skills and problem-solving skills with good time management.

• Able to handle stress and passionate in assisting students.

• Possess a “can-do” attitude, ability to work fast and independently.

• A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
