Job Description - Senior/ Executive, Talent Management & Employee Engagement

You will support the Senior Manager to oversee Talent Management and Employee Engagement initiatives. You will be primarily supporting the development and implementation of talent programs, engagement sessions, and projects that drive employee growth and development.  This will include assisting the HOD of HR on matters from management reporting, paper writing, policy review and project execution.

A little about you and what we seek to accomplish together:

Talent Management:

  • Support departmental work on talent programs for in-service employees and new/existing scholarship holders.
  • Plan and execute engagement sessions for scholars. 
  • Conceptualize and implement projects related to talent programs. 
  • Liaise with vendors for content/curriculum delivery, publicity materials, collaterals, and branding. 
  • Lead scholarship and career fairs. 
  • Manage finances and build reports for talent management initiatives. 
  • Support succession planning work and develop/track progress on talent profiles of employees in key appointment holders. 

Employee Engagement:

  • Support planning and conducting employee engagement surveys and follow-up solutions. 
  • Help support, track, and monitor the utilization of mental wellness programs.
  • Organize regular check-in sessions with peer supporters, plan and execute webinars, lunchtime talks, and other development projects. 

What you might need to have:

  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Science, Engineering or Human Resources. 
  • At least one year of relevant experience in managing/supporting programmes and projects is an advantage. 
  • Team player who is cooperative and helpful. 
  • As an individual contributor, be proactive, exercises initiative, multitask, work independently, meticulous to details, organised and have the resilience to meet strict deadlines to deliver on time. 
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Good knowledge of Excel (V-lookup and Pivot Tables) and ability to use Power Point programme to produce excellent presentations is an advantage.

1 year contract will be offered from the start.
