Senior / Executive, Trade, Cargo Pricing/ $4000-$5000 #ECT

Responsibilities

• Handle day to day pricing, review and manage rate requests based on shipping lanes, volumes, market conditions
• Perform yield management to ensure rate offers are competitive, and aligned with company guidelines
• Gather and review market information on market rates and services ensuring competitiveness in rate offers
• Identify opportunities to optimize pricing for key trade lanes and customer segments from volumes and revenue forecast collected
• Collaborate with sales team to support spot pricing inquiries based on customer profiles and volume commitments
• Ensure accuracy in rate input and system updates to avoid discrepancies between quoted and final agreed rate
• Involve in and understand all key components of the trade service P&L and make improvement
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics or equivalent
• Prior pricing experiences from the freight forwarding / Shipping industry is highly preferred
