Job Description - Senior/ Executive, Training

The Training Executive/ Senior Executive collaborates closely with the Head of Department (HOD) to implement comprehensive development plans and training course for Raffles Healthcare Institute (RHCI). He/she provides essential administrative support, organizing and coordinating a wide range of educational and training programmes and courses. By aligning these programmes and courses with RHCI's strategic goals, the trainer ensures that all initiatives contribute effectively to the overall growth and development of the organization. Additionally, the trainer monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of training sessions, gathers feedback and makes necessary adjustments to continually improve the quality and impact of the educational offerings, and a good understanding of the training needs. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess Learning Needs Analysis: Identify the learning and development needs of employees through consultations, engagement with stakeholders and performance evaluations.
  • Develop Training Courses and Programmes: Create comprehensive training curriculum, plans, training policies and e-resources which include trainer's guide, learner's guide, course prospectus, training calendar that align with organizational goals, using various instructional methods and materials.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Facilitate training courses, workshops, seminars and on the job training sessions using engaging and interactive techniques through various methods of training such as blended learning, classroom, virtual, e-learning, on site, etc. 
  • Evaluating Training Effectiveness: Assess the impact of training programmes through feedback, test and performance metrics to ensure objectives are met
  • Continuous improvement: Update training materials and methods based on feedback and industry trends to keep programmes relevant and effective
  • Collaboration with External Partners: Coordinate with industry partners and institutes of Higher Learning to promote attachments, internships and develop courses, workshops and academic programmes with RHCI
  • Awareness and Communication: Support implementation and maintenance of necessary infrastructure such as web portal, repository of training materials to support and promote training programmes and courses. Assist with marketing and creating awareness of RHCI training programmes and course to potential internal and external participants. 
  • Reporting and Support: Maintain detailed records of training activities and outcomes and providing reports to management. Provide secretariat and logistical support for organizing and conducting of training programmes and meetings. Maintain records of student attachment and internship provision, providing reports to management. 
  • Assist in other duties assigned by HOD and support the department in any ad-hoc projects. 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human resource Development or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare/ education industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and influencing skills 
  • Confident in presentation and ability to motivate learners
  • A good team player, committed, able to multi-task and work independently
  • Advance Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) / Advance Certificate in Learning & Performance (ACLP) preferred
  • Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) [optional]
