Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Head of Finance, the incumbent will work closely with CEO, Head of Finance and other Heads of Departments in strategy planning, development and implementation as well as risk management so as to realise HCA’s vision, mission and strategic outcomes. He/She also supports the HCA Board and Board Committees including preparing, participating and following up in key discussion.
The staff drives and provides support to CEO and Head of Finance, the Board and Board Committees in the following:
· Plan, develop and implement HCA’s key corporate planning and development programme, including but not limited to HCA’s annual workplan and budget cycle, strategic review (management & board), Board workshop and monthly management operation meetings
· Review and maintenance of the HCA corporate dashboard, risk register, governance evaluation checklist and governance section in annual report, including coordinating amongst all relevant internal stakeholders in ensuring necessary statistics and analysis report are prepared on time and are of high quality. Assist in statutory filing matters including liaison with external corporate secretary and preparing for annual general meeting.
· Review and maintenance of HCA’s approval and authorisation framework, including review and alignment of all Board and Board Committees’ Terms of Reference, HCA’s policies and SOPs.
· Review and facilitate business continuity management process, including areas in data protection, risk management, audit and other compliance related projects in the organization
· Drive innovation projects involving inter-departments and / or external stakeholders and support in new opportunities assessment and project coordination.
· Establish excellent communications with all internal department stakeholders, as well as Board and Board Committees, including participating in related meetings, providing administrative and secretarial support and support stakeholder engagement, where appropriate
· Performs other duties as required to meet HCA’s vision, mission and strategic outcomes.
Requirements :
· At least 1 year of work experience in similar role
· Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
· Strategic thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
· Client-facing/stakeholder management experience (facilitate meeting, taking meeting minutes, proactive communication)
· Good organisation skills to execute and drive to closure assigned tasks independently and in a timely manner
· Open to adapting to the working culture in a fast-paced charity and embracing new challenges
· Knowledge of business continuity management is an advantage
