Senior Facilities Project, Tool Install & Building Services Engineer - with Great Benefits

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for planning, engineering, executing projects and tool hook-up related to Facilities Operations & Maintenance to meet the current and future requirements, ensure efficient operation and providing technical support to Operations & Maintenance when required.

The person will be a decision maker and self-starter who meets the challenges of daily involvement to Facilities system operation and program. 

What You Will Do:

• Monitor and provide report to project team on progress related to production tool-install/ de-install, relocation activities and to ensure all the agreed scope of works are executed in a safe manner and in accordance with good 5S practices.
• Prepare tool install/de-install cost estimates and tender documents for release to selected resident contractors
• Lead an onsite building technician/contractors in performing building repair works such as electrical, plumbing, building fixtures and fittings.
• Conduct regular inspection on building premises in identifying areas for improvement or for corrective maintenance. 
• Ensure that all maintenance programs/work activities are implemented effectively in strict compliance with regulatory, and SOPs.
• Supervise vendors in the planning and development of essential facilities to support business requirements
• Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure business objectives, project requirements and statutory regulations are achieved.
• Prepare tender documents and specifications for various services 
• Monitor project schedule and provide timely project progress reporting to project team and stakeholders.
• Respond to facilities work order request lodge by end user, provide feasible solution and coordinate with end user in fulfilling their work order request. 
• Manage and supervises contracted janitors and gardener in daily cleaning of building's grounds and landscaping upkeeping.
• Signing on Delivery Orders (DO), perform Goods Receive (GR) note, prepare and submit buy-off forms to Finance for completed projects. 
• Create and maintain an up-to-date project document folders for safe keeping of all project related matters i.e. project meeting of minutes, project schedule, authority approvals, training materials etc. 
• Evaluate work performance of the contractors.
• Set KPIs for contracted janitors, perform regular inspection on contracted janitors’ scope of work and to conduct monthly performance review with contracted janitors. 

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):

• Work experience in Facilities Projects, Engineering, Energy/Water/Waste reduction projects, facility/building management in a Semiconductor manufacturing environment or large scale facility.
• Ability to lead cross functional projects in a fast paced work environment.
• Good knowledge in relevant Code of Practice, AUTOCAD drawings and Project Management.
• Excellent Team player, adaptable, organized, highly motivated and analytical. 
• Good in communication, interpersonal skills and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Good planning, organizing and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
• Proactive and process oriented individual with good analytical skill.
• Ability to remain flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's

Field of Study

Mechanical/ Electrical or any other engineering discipline

Years of Experience (Minimum)

• 5 - 7 years
