Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Collections Officer / Supervisor to lead our collections team in Singapore, Malaysia & Bali, Indonesia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a Collection team, setting collections targets and strategies, conducting training, and providing supervision. Additionally, you will personally contact debtors to collect outstanding debts, negotiate payment arrangements, and document communications while adhering to collections policies and procedures to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise a team of 10-20 Dunning & Field Collection Officers across Singapore, Malaysia & Bali, ensuring they meet collections targets and follow policies and procedures.
• Strategy and Reporting: Develop collections strategies, set team KPIs, and calculate incentives. Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to monitor team performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Debt Collection: Personally contact debtors, negotiate payment plans, and maintain comprehensive documentation while adhering to collections policies and procedures to achieve collections targets.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of specialized collections experience in unsecured debt (e.g. personal and credit card loans).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in collections strategies, target setting, and reporting.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets (knowledge of Google App Script is a plus).
• Valid motorcycle license with own motorcycle; willingness to relocate to Singapore and travel is essential.
