Job Description

You will make your mark as a Senior Finance Accountant at our Singapore office and play a key role in the financial administration and reporting of Smit Singapore within the Shared Resources centre in Singapore and work closely together with Shared Services team in Abu Dhabi. You will be based in working from our Singapore office and with the team consisting of around 23 people from different backgrounds.
 

Your responsibilities as a Senior Finance Accountant are:

• Manages, supervises, and coaches the various finance team members assigned to the following functions:

       a) AP

       b) AR

       c) Banking

• Assists the Finance Manager in investigating and resolving system or process issues as they arise, including liaising with Abu Dhabi office and HQ teams.
• Handles the full scope of GST works, including GST Group reporting and ACAP audits.
• Supports the Finance Manager in ad hoc tasks relating to the work scope of the Finance Shared Resources department.
   

Your qualities
You can make your mark as a Senior Finance Accountant if you have:

• Degree in Accountancy.
• At least 2 years working experience in supervisory role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good knowledge and working experience in GST are preferred.
• Able to work independently with strong planning and organizing skillsets.
• Strong command of English language.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
