Role Summary and Impact 

We are currently looking for a Commercial Senior Finance Executive to join us. You will be a key point of contact for our business and shared service teams, providing crucial support for financial operations. In this role, you will help maintain and improve WPP Media’s procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory guidelines.

What you will do:

• Manage the end‑to‑end intercompany process, including tracking, performing reconciliations, resolving discrepancies with the Commercial and Finance teams, and ensuring all entries are accurately reflected in the accounting systems.


• Support and collaborate with the team across all billing, collection, and payment activities to drive operational efficiency.


• Support month‑end close activities, including preparing journal entries instructions and performing reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts.


• Support monthly, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process.


• Preparation of internal and client reporting.


• Compliance: Supporting in Client, Financial and SOX audit documentation


• Ad-hoc duties
  
  

What you will need:

• Degree/diploma in accounting


• At least 3 years’ experience in a Finance position


• Prior hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable/ Billing operations/ General Ledger for the media industry an advantage


• Good numeracy and experience with the Microsoft office suites (such as Power BI) an advantage


• Responsible, diligent and attentive to detail; follows through on queries and issues


• Analytical, meticulous with a positive attitude to work hard, good team player and able to work with minimal supervision


• Strong communicator, comfortable in dealing with both internal and external parties, clients and suppliers


• Recognizes and resolves problems quickly and effectively
