Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S) is a non-profit charity organisation dedicated to serving individuals on the autism spectrum throughout their lives. Based in Singapore, ARC(S) offers a range of services and resources tailored to meet the growing concerns and needs of the autism community
Reporting to the Senior Manager for Finance, the Senior Finance Executive will support the business units across the group (except for Pathlight School).
Key responsibilities:
1. Monthly Accounts Closing and Financial Reporting
Manage full set of accounts and ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
Prepare and review journal entries, accrals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review including variance analysis against budget and prior periods, providing insights to management.
Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with company policies.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting.
2. Banking & Treasury (Group)
Liaise with banks on account operations, financing facilities, and documentation requirements.
Prepare and submit required documents for bank transactions, compliance, and credit reviews.
Monitor and prepare cash flow forecast and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Provide investment analysis to support business decision-making.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
3. Audit, Compliance, Taxes
Liaise with external auditors for annual statutory audits and ensure smooth audit processes.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Provide audit schedules and supporting documentation, and resolve audit queries promptly.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Prepare corporate tax computation and submission, including coordination with tax agents where applicable.
Maintain proper documentation in line with requirements from the IRAS.
4. Others
Perform ad-hoc tasks/projects duties assigned
Requirements
Degree in Accounting/Finance, or a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA)
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience with prior experience as General Ledger and Treasury
Experience in Microsoft Business Central is an added advantage
IT proficient and familiar with Microsoft suite of products
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Able to work independently and as part of a team
