Senior / Finance Executive (Automotive) - Immediate Start

Responsibilities

• Financial accounting

○  Prepare monthly closing journal

○  Prepare / Review monthly accounts reconciliations and schedules

○  Review monthly inventories ageing report for adequate NRV

○  Control chart of a/c, review consistency, control a/c creation and archive

○  Assist FM in annual insurance policy renewal review

○  Audit review support (External and GCAD review)

○  Ensure compliance to accounting standards

○  Preparing and submit Benefit in Kind (BIK) - Car and Car-related Benefits

○  Annual Statutory Accounts, XBRL

• Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivables

○ Review of sales ledger and purchase ledger reconciliation

○  Review monthly inter-co billing and ensure consistent accounting treatment

○  Review debtors aging reports and vendors statement reconciliation

○  Prepare commissions for payroll submission

○  Prepare payroll journals

○  Monitor daily cashflow requirements

○  Prepare/ review Banker’s Guarantees applications, maintain records and

monitor expiry/renewal

○  Prepare / review payments to vendors

• Provide advice, guidelines and instructions to shared services centre and operations on day-to-day accounting matters
• GST and tax

○  Review GST submission workings and GST reconciliation test

○  Prepare tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provision

○  Prepare corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants

• Fixed Assets and Capex

○  Prepare capex and maintain capex records for new / replacement of fixed

assets

○  Maintain asset register

○  Prepare costing for demo registration

• Budget and forecasts - Provide assistance to reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts
• Collaborate with Digital Technology team – user acceptance tests for new programs, parameters and interface set-ups, etc
