Senior Finance Executive - Join a Market Leader

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Finance Executive to be located in Kallang, Singapore

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

• Maintain accurate & quality financial information and ascertained compliance with local & US GAAP requirement.
• Coordinate GL function at site (AP, AR, GL, Lease, Payroll, Interco, Fixed Asset). Ensure proper accounting treatment for all transactions about AP, AR, GL, Payroll, Interco & Fixed Assets)
• Review of all inter-company (ICV) transactions and payments
• Weekly AR & AP review with the Global Business Support Team in India
•  Ensure proper control and accounting of all fixed assets additions, disposals & transfers. Responsible to coordinate and perform yearly fixed asset sighting.
•  Assist the operation team in preparing a new Capital expenditure (Capex) application with financial justification.
• Monitor and maintain budget in Acquire system for better traceability and cost management.
• Maintaining and updating all commodity codes in Acquire system.
• Oversea GST matters at site and ensure all GST reporting submitted on timely manner to relevant government authorities.
• Maintain good Internal Control. Responsible for completion of Internal and External Audits without any major deficiencies.
• Support the consolidation team on statutory audit & notes to accounts disclosures.
• Conduct 100% Balance Sheet reconciliation and managed Business Control in compliance with corporate policy and local statutory requirements.
• Review & ensure all government-related business surveys are submitted on timely manner.
• Preparation & review of month end closing activities – preparation of Month End files and commentary.
• Support in yearly physical inventory counts.
• Preparation of balance sheet and analytical review files – monthly & quarterly
• Overseeing the sites compliances in terms of SOD and system conflict issues.
• Employee claims verification and approval.
• AP – Titan workflow approval and maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain budget in the Acquire system for better traceability and cost management.
• Maintaining and updating all commodity codes in Acquire system.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation in EHS programs.

Here are some of our preferred skills:

• Typically requires a Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent recognized by ICPAS. 
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
