Senior Finance Manager Real Estate / REIT

A prominent real estate investment platform with a diversified portfolio of commercial and industrial assets is seeking an experienced finance professional to support financial management, reporting, and strategic decision-making across its property portfolio. This role offers exposure to portfolio finance, regulatory reporting, capital management, and stakeholder engagement within a listed real estate environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the property portfolio, including consolidated accounts, management reporting, and variance analysis
2. Oversee statutory reporting and financial disclosures, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, listing requirements for SGX, and MAS regulatory obligations
3. Drive annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes across asset and portfolio levels
4. Lead preparation of board materials, financial reports and supporting documentation for audits and regulatory requirements
5. Provide financial analysis and performance insights covering rental income, operating expenses, capital expenditure, cash flows, and asset-level returns to support business and investment decisions
6. Manage tax compliance, regulatory submissions, and governance-related reporting requirements while liaising with external advisors and relevant stakeholders
7. Support treasury and capital management activities, including liquidity planning, financing arrangements, debt management, and working capital optimisation
8. Partner closely with asset management, property management, investment, and operations teams to enhance portfolio performance and financial visibility
9. Review and strengthen internal controls, financial governance frameworks, and reporting processes while driving finance transformation and operational improvement initiatives
10. Lead and develop finance team members, while presenting financial performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders

Requirements

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or ACCA preferred
2. At least 8–10 years of relevant experience within REITs, real estate investment platforms, property developers, asset managers, or similar real estate-focused organisations
3. Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering within a property or asset-intensive environment
4. Sound knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards, listed company reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance frameworks
5. Exposure to portfolio finance, property performance analysis, treasury activities, and capital management initiatives would be advantageous
6. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior management, business leaders, auditors, lenders, and external advisors
7. Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing finance teams
8. Commercially minded, analytical, and able to operate effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced investment environment
