Responsibilities:
- Observe and comply with all prevailing and regulations relating to Fire Safety Act.
- Conduct fire safety training for staff.
- Carry out regular building inspection and ensure non-compliance of fire safety are addressed and rectified.
- Ensure building fire evacuation routes are free from obstruction.
- Ensure building fire evacuation plans are in place.
- Submit monthly fire safety report.
- Conduct table top exercise regularly.
- Conduct fire drill exercise, fire risk assessment and incident management.
- Ensure staff and contractors comply with the safety regulations.
- Ensure all works carried out safely and/or in accordance with safety procedures.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Building or Facilities Management.
- At least 5 years of experience in the relevant trade.
- Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF for minimum 5 years
- Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.
- Possess high level of initiative and integrity.
- Willing to work alternate 5.5 days
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
