Senior Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and growth.
• Participate in architectural discussions and make recommendations for new technologies and improvements.
• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve functionality and user experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
• Strong experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Experience integrating interactive maps (Leaflet / MapLibre or similar)
• Ability to build data-driven UI (charts, dynamic controls)
• Experience optimizing performance for data-heavy applications
• Familiar with geospatial concepts (CRS, raster data, map tiles)
• Experience working with large or scientific datasets (e.g., NetCDF, GeoTIFF)
• Exposure to geospatial libraries or data processing tools
• Champion the use of AI-assisted / agentic coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, Copilot) to improve team productivity
