The Business and Strategy Analytics team is part of the Intelligence and Data Solutions team, that partners with the Asia Pacific Regional President’s Office to enable Visa internal business units to optimize performance and profitability, and make data-driven decisions. The team provides management intelligence to democratize data insights across the organization and strategic analytics to identify opportunities and deep dive on key payment trends and shape the future of payments.

What a Business Intelligence Lead Sr. Manager does at Visa

The successful candidate will be vital in shaping our BI strategy through hands-on development, contributing to the design and delivery of high-impact data solutions that directly influence Visa’s internal strategy and operations. You will work cross-functionally to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and develop scalable, insightful and highly user-centric BI solutions from concept to implementation.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Solution Design & Development with UI/UX Excellence: Lead the end-to-end design, development and implementation of complex BI solutions. This includes conceptualization, data acquisition, transformation and visualization. A strong emphasis will be placed on creating visually appealing, easy-to-navigate, and highly performant dashboards and reports
• Stakeholder Engagement and Business Focus: Partner closely with internal stakeholders across various functions and markets to understand their analytical needs, translate business questions into precise data requirements and deliver impactful BI solutions. Crucially, you will focus on understanding the business to design highly intuitive and actionable user experiences for all BI projects
• Performance Optimization and Technology advancement: Optimize BI dashboards and reports for performance scalability, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of insights to business users. Stay abreast of emerging BI technologies, tools and trends and evaluate potential application within Visa to enhance our analytical capabilities such as new visualization techniques, Interactive UI components and GenAI adoption

The role reports to the Head of Management Intelligence, Business and Strategy Analytics Asia Pacific team and will be based in Singapore.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Preferred Qualifications

9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD



What you will need

Technical

• 10+ years of analytics expertise in applying data and analytical solutions to business problems
• Post graduate degree in Quantitative field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience with leading BI visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or similar, with demonstrated ability to design and build visually compelling, interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports
• Experience in working with real-world data sets and building scalable BI dashboards and reports
• Hands on experience with multiple data analytics and data science programming tools and technologies such as SQL, Spark, Hive, Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc
• Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, relational data and ETL processes
• Proven understanding and application of UI / UX design principles in the context of data visualization and BI reporting
• Exposure to or conceptual understanding of integrating Gen AI or Agentic AI capabilities within BI dashboards for enhanced insights, natural language querying or automated report generation, is a plus

• Good business acumen with strong ability to solve business problems through data driven quantitative methodologies. Experience in cards/payments, retail banking, or retail merchant industries is important
• Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style, with the ability to tailor data driven results to various audience levels
• Detail-oriented and able to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports & data analysis
• Proven skills in translating analytics output to actionable recommendations, and delivery
• Experience in presenting ideas and analysis to stakeholders
• Exhibit intellectual curiosity and strive to continually learn
