Job Description - Senior Manager (Facilities Management)


The Opportunity:


Taking the role of lead, oversee and management Facilities Management, Engineering and Operations projects from planning, execution to final completion to ensure a safe and conducive Environment of Care (EOC) for patients, visitors and staff is provided for at all times


The incumbent shall be responsible to:



  • Manage Repair and Replacement (R&R) projects

  • Implement inspection and acceptance activities related to the current and new facilities

  • Analyse and investigate faults / complaints / hazards on the building facilities, equipment and infrastructure

  • Provide technical advice and assistance to user departments

  • Implement various programs for the operations, maintenance and improvement of the building facilities, equipment and infrastructure

  • Oversee the outsourced service partner’s performance

  • Develop policy, procedure, work plans and implement reliability improvement plans

  • Update Management on Integrated Operations & Improvement e.g Kaizen

  • Financial budgeting and expenses monitoring

  • Draft and execute of contract documents and manage the performance of contracts established

  • Develop plans at all levels, write report / papers and provide project updates

  • Take on project manager role in various integrated operations areas

  • Support the Department in Audits, Inspections and Accreditation


The Requirements



  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/ACMV discipline

  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in Facilities Management

  • Experience in contract management and Procurement Management

  • Green Mark or Sustainability certification would be an added advantage

  • Experience in a high technology manufacturing or healthcare environment would be an added advantage
